Carnforth Suffolks

Welcome to the Carnforth suffolk sheep website.  We have been breeding suffolk sheep for over 25 years, supplying rams and females to pedigree and commercial breeders.  We re-stocked after losing the original flock with foot and mouth disease in 2001.  We purchased two in-lamb gimmers and two ewe lambs from the late Gordon Wilson's "Glenisla" flock. These ewes and a few select purchases from "Balmaud" "Santon" "Pexhill" "Parkburn" and "Flodden" make up the nucleous of the flock. 

The flock has recently started performance recording, although our priority is to breed stylish, well fleshed, correct sheep, with the belief the performance figures will follow.
